The spread of fake news is a phenomenon that has exploded in recent years, and misinformation has always affected many foods important to the diet of Italians, and fish, particularly farmed fish, is no exception.
Aquaculture represents a unique heritage of knowledge, experience and culture that still remains an unknown for most consumers, who are too often hostage to alarmism, false beliefs and a real difficulty in finding the correct information.
Information professionals therefore have a key role in communicating clearly and correctly to enhance this Italian excellence and to help create social acceptance of the sector. The event will also be an important opportunity for fish farmers to find the key to tell the added value of aquaculture products and reach the final consumer in a timely and effective way.
Conducted in collaboration with journalists and experts in the field and environmental sustainability professionals, the course will provide a clear and objective overview of the value of aquaculture.
